Bob Stommel Wrote on April 14, 2008: Born on January 23, 1948 in Amsterdam and immigrated to USA in September 1956, spent a couple of years in San Diego, California, then moved to Fresno CA, Los Angeles, CA and back to Fresno before getting out of high school. I got married at age 19 to Karen Thompson, and had two children, Vicki and Shelley, also now have three grandchildren, two girls (Vicki's) Meagan and Kimberlee, and one grandson (Shelley's) Carson, they are fourteen, eleven and two respectively. I got divorced at 29 years of age, and stayed single traveling allot and completing college degrees, working in risk management field for thirty plus years. I have worked for myself for over twenty years and am now semi- retired, spending time in Utah & California. I enjoy hiking, skiing, camping, traveling, and drinking good RED wine!! (note from Sjef: I remember you once visited us in Gennep and you were planning to go out but my dad (Dries) told you not to drink too much. And you only said: "it's good for the blood"). I got married in 1997 to Jane, and have a step son, Matthew who is currently 17 years of age. We enjoy traveling as much as possible. She is a school teacher.
